While on a run the other afternoon in the forest, I noticed a tree beginning to change colors. The slightly imbued orange colored leaves struck me, because it seems like just a short time ago Norah and I were pruning the apple orchard in a few inches of snow in April. And now, fall is closing in upon us –as well as the heart of the harvest season!
Time has moved rather quickly this farming season. I guess the old adage; “time moves quickly when one is workin’ hard,” is true. We, as a crew, have worked our tails off. And, in our work we have dedicated ourselves (mind and body) to producing good food (we hope) for our much-appreciated shareholders. Accordingly, it is with great pleasure the farm crew presents to you some of the fruit of our labor in the form of the 15th week’s harvest.
Kindly, Olai
