A Note About Our CSA Value
When calculating our CSA share prices, we aim to divide the financial benefit of cutting out the supermarket “middleman” between the farmer and the shareholder. Our goal is to save you, the shareholder, up to 30% off what you would pay for an equivalent quantity of organic vegetables at the market. In 2016 our Brimming Basket Share (cost $595) had a market value of $820, and our Half Pint Share (cost $395) had a market value of $485, and that didn’t even account for our pick-your-own crops or the barter table!
