Reducing your carbon footprint has never tasted so good! Spring, summer & fall; 7+ months of Sweetland veggies (& fruits)!

Our main CSA season runs from Mid-May through October, for a total of 24 weeks of fresh local produce. Add a Winter Share to eat with us for a full 7 1/2 months!

Sweetland Farm offers three conveniently-sized shares to fit your family’s appetite; Veggie Monster, Brimming Basket and Half-Pint. Extend the season further by purchasing an additional Winter Share, and enjoy fresh Sweetland vegetables in November and December. Whichever option you choose, we’d love to have you join our CSA family!

Veggie Monster (large) Share
$70/ week for 24 Weeks

Our largest share, the Veggie Monster, is intended to cover all the veggie needs of a seriously produce-loving household. This share puts the contents of a Brimming Basket PLUS a Half Pint Share in your box, plus occasional bonus crops throughout the season. Though crops and quantities vary throughout the season, members who purchase the Veggie Monster should expect an average of 2 full paper shopping bags of produce per week. We aim for a 20% bonus value for our Veggie Monsters, compared to shopping at the farmers’ market or grocery store for the equivalent quantity of locally-grown produce. PLUS Veggie Monsters receive a 5% discount on all purchases in our farm store!

Brimming Basket (medium) Share
$44.50/ week for 24 Weeks

Our most popular share size, intended to feed a family of 4, or 1 to 2 healthy vegetable-eaters. Though crops and quantities vary throughout the season, Brimming Basket Shareholders should expect about one full paper shopping bag of seasonal produce per week. We aim for a 15% bonus value for our Brimming Basket members, compared to shopping at the farmers’ market or grocery store for the equivalent quantity of locally grown produce. PLUS Brimming Baskets receive a 4% discount on all purchases in our farm store throughout the season!

Half-Pint (small) Share
$ 34.50/ week for 24 Weeks

Our more modest share, intended for 1 to 2 moderate veggie eaters, or those supplementing from their own gardens or trips to the farmer’s market. Though crops and quantities vary throughout the season, Half-Pint Shareholders should expect a paper shopping bag 1/2 to 2/3 full of seasonal produce each week. We aim for a 10% bonus value for our Half Pint members, compared to shopping at the farmers’ market or grocery store for the equivalent quantity of locally grown produce. PLUS Half Pints receive a 3% discount on all purchases in our farm store throughout the season!

Sweetest Fruit Share
$16.50/ week (14 week season)

When we purchased Sweetland in the spring of 2012 we got right to work and planted an orchard. Now, after years of patience and care, we are thrilled to share the harvest! Enjoy 14 weeks of seasonal fruit varieties from our trees and the trees and fields of our neighboring farmers. You’ll have juice from fruits like strawberries, currants, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, plums, apples and pears dribbling down your chin on a weekly basis all season long! (Limited number. Available as an add-on for vegetable CSA members only.)

Winter Share
$44.50/week for 8 weeks (November 1-December 20)

Dreading going back to grocery store produce department after a summer of Sweetland’s fresh veggies? Extend your share with 8 weeks of late-season produce to stock your winter pantry or enjoy with your loved ones during the holidays. A weekly medley of storage crops like carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, rutabaga, potatoes, cabbage and winter squashes, plus frost-sweetend greens like kale, spinach, tatsoi and mesclun. PLUS Winter Share members receive a 4% discount on all purchases in our farm store throughout the season.

Share-a-Share with Willing Hands

We are proud to partner with Willing Hands to help provide nutritious food to the less fortunate in our community. With your help we can make our farm’s fresh produce available to underserved neighbors in the Upper Valley. Consider donating a CSA share of any size to Willing Hands through our joint “share-a-share” program. This program supports our farm AND helps fight hunger in the Upper Valley!  Want to learn more? Visit the Willing Hands site or check the box marked “I am purchasing this share to donate to Willing Hands” on our signup form. Subsidized shares

Sweetland Farm is a proud participant in the NOFA-VT Farm Share Program, a cost-sharing program that offers financial support to limited-income Vermonters for purchasing a CSA share. Learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply by visiting the NOFA-VT website.

Pick up your share at Sweetland Farm, just 6 miles from downtown Norwich on Route 132. Come select your own produce, enjoy our amazing views, check out additional products available at the Farm Store, and gather goodies from the pick-your-own gardens.

We ask you to choose Tuesday, Friday or Saturday for your regular weekly pickup day so that we can plan our harvest numbers ahead, but you are welcome to email us in advance if you would like to switch to another day in an upcoming week.

We offer convenient pre-packed box pickup at Dartmouth College’s Fairchild Tower and Irving Energy Center, plus at a weekly pop-up farmer’s market at DHMC for an additional $30 per season.

Pick-Your-Own
Free for all members

All CSA members are welcome and encouraged to visit the farm once a week to harvest herbs, flowers, and veggies from our plentiful pick-your-own gardens. While you are here, check out our Farm Store, take a walk through our fields and pastures, visit the animals, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. Bring the kids, but please leave your pets at home or keep them on a short leash!
